Register now for Fall 2025 after school classes
We are happy to register students that require support in their education programs due to learning or other challenges. However, to make the experience a success for the child and the group, please provide details of the child’s needs in the WVL or CCC registration forms, and contact staff well ahead of the after school class so we can arrange a tour and a time to connect with staff prior to the classes. Some students may require additional assistance in various classes just as in school which may require seeking additional funding for an aide. This helps the child, staff and the other children experience a positive class.
NOTE: If you would like to register you child for class but would prefer to spread the payments over 2 payments, please email programs@wvlcentre.ca and we will make arrangements.
Refund policy;
A refund will be issued if you provide 10 working days notice prior to the start of the after school programs. The refund will be the price of the class with a $15 processing fee deducted. No refund is issued for late withdrawals except under extenuating circumstances where a partial refund might be considered.

Kitchen Capers
Spend time in the kitchen preparing your favourite snacks (some quick dinner ideas) and learning new recipes. Monday group start September 29th Wednesday groups Start October 1st. Each group would have 9 sessions.

Everything Minecraft (ages 7-10)

This club focuses on everything Minecraft – Coding and mining in Minecraft – playing with the Minecraft magnetic blocks, colouring sheets, Minecraft Lego and more! Ages 7-10
Creative Writing Club (10-16)
Tuesdays 3:30 – 5:00 – October 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov 4, 18, 25, Dec 2, 9 (No class Nov 11th)

Dream, Design, Create, Develop – Engineer Camp (ages 8-14). Registers through CCC
Wednesdays 3:15 – 5:15
Session 1 – Oct 8 – Nov 5 5 weeks Cost $175
Session 2 – Nov 12 – Dec 10 5 weeks Cost $175
Dream, Design, Create, Develop – Engineer Camp Students will help design and engineer new projects using Strawbees and MicroBits! There will also be motors, led lights, and other materials to help create projects. The students can also let their creative imagination run away with MakeDo cardboard creations!
Coding Club ages 8-14
Fridays 3:30 – 5:30 – Sept 29 – Dec 8 th
Oct 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov 7, 14, 21, 28, Dec 5, 12 (No class on Halloween)

This club will include an introduction to Scratch and Minecraft for those that have not learned these block coding languages. Participants will have the chance to create their own games, and participate in various coding challenges with fellow participants.
Ongoing Dungeon and Dragons Groups
Embark on wondrous quests and mythical journeys! This club is for the imaginative adventurer who is curious about the world of Dungeons & Dragons. No experience required! Our adventures are custom designed and age appropriate for young audiences. Participants will learn about D&D and how to create and run their own adventures for their friends.
WestView Learning has 4 regularly scheduled groups. Groups with limited spaces include:

- Tuesday, 1:00 – 3:00 Ages 14-19 (Sensitive for Sensory needs group)
- Wednesday, 3:30 – 5:30 Ages 12-16
- Thursday, 3:30 – 5:30 – full
- Friday, 1:00 – 3:00 Ages 10-14
