All day camps are held onsite at WestView Learning’s home, the Historic Somenos Community Hall, located at 3248 Cowichan Valley Hwy – aka Hwy 18.
Registration for most of the courses are directly through this website but some of the courses register through the Cowichan Community Centre’s RecCowichan. All spring break courses are available for registration now!!!
All camps run a full week, 9:00 – 3:00 each day. Please contact Christine, WVL’s program manager, if arrangements need to be made for early arrival or late pick up. Campers do spend time outside, weather permitting. Please send campers with:
- appropriate outside clothing/foot wear
- water bottle
- snacks/lunch
- inside shoes
We are happy to register students that have support in their education programs due to learning or other challenges. However, to make the experience a success for the child, please provide details of the child’s needs in the WVL or CCC registration forms, and contact staff well ahead of the camp so we can arrange a tour and a time to connect with staff prior to the camp. Some students may require additional assistance in camps just as in school which may require seeking additional funding for an aide. This helps the camper, staff and the other campers experience a positive camp.
