After School Classes
WestView Learning offers after school classes on a variety of STEAM topics from late September through May, while schools are in session. These classes are 1.5-2.0 hours in length and usually run from 3:15/3:30 pm to 5:00/5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Fall 2025
Currently classes for kids include:
- Creative Writing
- Coding
- Dungeon and Dragons
- Jr Engineers
Winter 2026
We are preparing classes beginning January 12th and ending by March 13th as spring break follows. We will have registration open for these classes December 1st.
Note: If there is a particular type of class you would like to see offered for your child and a small group of friends, please contact Christine at programs@wvlcentre.ca. We are always interested in developing further classes/camp themes.
Day Camps
WestView Learning will be offering approximately 30 Day Camps during 2026. Important information to know about our day camps includes:
- Camps run 9:00 – 3:00, Monday to Friday (except July 1st)
- Drop off starts at 8:50 and we encourage pick up prior to 3:10 if further arrangements have not been made in advance.
- Neurodiverse children are welcomed to participate. We encourage parents to reach out to us to set up a time for our program manager to meet your child, discuss matches to different camps, and then introduce the child to the building and staff ahead of time. We like to set our campers up for success.
- Camp themes are based on STEAM and literacy topics. (STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)
Spring Break: March 16th – 20th, March 23rd-27th
