Introduction to Python – Fridays January 9 – March 13 2026
Ages 12+ Cost $350 for 10 sessions
Python is a great first programming language because it’s easy to read and lets you start creating right away. In this class, students will learn the basics of writing Python code, including variables, loops, and simple programs. Each lesson will include hands-on activities so everyone can practice their skills and see their code come to life. By the end of the course, students will feel confident using Python to solve problems and build their own projects.
A significant amount of typing is involved in the course – so for those students who wish, they will be set up with an online typing program accessible by mobile device or computer. Compatible keyboards for mobile devices cost approximately $25 and are available to be ordered for personal use.
Students will be provided with directions for accessing their projects at home – with instructions on how to set up the coding environment on their own computer if they wish in the 5th class.
